Sweet Pea Fashion website goes live!

We’re very excited to announce the launch of our latest project: a new website and POS system for Bristol based Sweet Pea Fashion.

Sweet Pea Fashion is a lovely boutique store based in Westbury-On-Trym, ran by best friends Gemma and Emma. After working with us on smaller website projects in the past, Sweet Pea asked us to develop a new website that would allow them to sell their stock online and in store. We’re thrilled with the final result and it’s been such a pleasure collaborating with the Sweet Pea Fashion team!

Here’s how we helped Sweet Pea Fashion launch their new Omni-channel website:

Project Must-haves:

  • Inviting look and feel
  • Keep stock synchronised on website and in store
  • Ability to promote and sell on Facebook
  • Integrated with a new Point Of Sale till system

With busy footfall, our main challenge was to find a way to keep the website stock synchronised with the stock out on the shelves in-store. We’d recently gained our Shopify Partner status and knew straight away that Shopify’s iPad POS Solution would be the perfect addition to Sweet Pea’s store.

The supply and installation of the iPad POS hardware was provided by Greg Ayres from Pos-Aid Ltd, who did a fantastic job of helping Sweet Pea turn their bricks and mortar store into a new Omni-channel!

Whilst the supply and installation of Sweet Pea’s new POS system took place, we began working on the look and feel of the front end of their new website.

The Design and Development:

After spending the day with the team at their store in Bristol, Emily collaborated with Gemma and Emma to create a modern, fresh and responsive website. To complement the glam, yet rustic feel of their store, we chose a pallet of soft pink and turquoise pastels with a pop of fuchsia to tie in with their branding.

We then optimised and tested on desktop, tablet and mobile to ensure compatibility across all devices. The new Sweet Pea website also has ability to sell on Social Media platforms such as Facebook and Pinterest (although the ability to sell on Pinterest is not yet available in the UK, boo!)

Outcome:

The new Sweet Pea Fashion website has a new chic design with improved usability and sales conversion tools. Gemma and Emma are now free to sell across their store, website and Facebook with their stock being maintained in a single place thanks to Shopify’s POS app.

Thank you so much for all the work you have done on our new and improved website – we love it!! You delivered EXACTLY what we were looking for and your input and suggestions along the way were fantastic – thank you Emily we now have a website we can be proud of.

Big thank you to Webforward!

Let's make something great together!
