Artemis Travel

In the Summer of 2010, we began our partnership with the holiday accommodation specialists Artemis Travel. With its extensive portfolio of property rentals, Artemis needed a digital partner who could help them improve their online presence and create a more user-friendly way for customers to book their holiday accommodation. Over our decade long partnership, we worked with Artemis to create everything from Website Design and Hosting to Email Marketing and In-Resort print materials.

Rethinking Holiday Accommodation Websites

Artemis Travel offered a unique date-driven way for their customers to holiday abroad. With thousands of property rentals to choose from, customers could book apartments and villas based on when they wanted to travel, leaving them free to book their flights independently at a time that suited them.

Over our long partnership with Artemis Travel, we created two responsive websites that allowed customers to book holiday accommodation in Turkey, Cyprus and Costa Del Sol, with the first one launching in August 2010. Back then, mobile-friendly websites were a new technology that very few companies had adapted to, leaving Artemis Travel standing head and shoulders above their competitors! Customers could now book accommodation on their mobile phone, increasing Artemis's conversions by 600%!

Thanks to the success of the first website, Artemis Travel expanded significantly, leading to the development of a bespoke Business System. In 2015, we redesigned and launched a new website that was fully integrated with their new system.

A bespoke Management System for Holiday Letting

After the launch of their new website, the busy summer seasons were creating endless seas of paperwork. Artemis asked us to combine their three core aspects - bookings, management, and accounts into one easy to use web panel that their UK Head Office and staff based in-resort could access.

At the time, Artemis managed over 3500 apartments and villas across four countries, all inside spreadsheets. Our goal was to help Artemis save the 20 hours week they were spending updating their spreadsheets, along with importing bookings from third-party vendors such as Hotels4U and Thomas Cook.
