Placing a loved one in a nursing home can be a difficult decision for any family to make. We wanted to create an open and inviting space where visitors could find all the information they needed, whether a family member or a future resident themselves.

Accessibility drove many of our design decisions. Was the information easy to read and view by someone aged 25 or 75? To help with readability, we provided visitors with the capability to control the text size of all pages, from standard to extra-large, on both desktop and mobile devices. With the light colour palette, highlighted information and friendly tone, residents and families are reassured that Linden Care Homes are a provider they can trust.

The Linden Care Homes website scores 96% for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), meaning the website is barrier-free for people with disabilities.

Beautiful Imagery and Interactive Tours

Linden Care Homes take great pride in their homes and landscaping but didn't have any photographs that reflected how beautiful they truly are. We teamed up with local Commercial Photography experts So Visual who went above and beyond for Linden, providing a whole library of aerial photography, drone videos, interior shots and interactive 360º tours for all three homes.

With So Visual's photography of the grounds, living areas and the homes, visitors can gain a real sense of who Linden Care Homes are and how much love and care their teams place into making them a true "home from home". Linden Care Homes will now use these stunning photographs across their new print literature in the months to come.

Optimising the job application process

To provide the best environment for their residents, Linden Care Homes have always ensured their staffing levels are beyond the industry standard. Wanting to remove any barriers for job applicants, we created a new mobile-friendly way to apply for a position.

Linden Care Homes can now update the website and instantly accept applications when a job opportunity arises, reducing their paper consumption. Our system turns these applications into a simple PDF form, with a copy emailed to the Care Home Manager. Now that candidates can apply for jobs from their laptops, mobile phone, or tablets, Linden Care Homes is receiving more qualified applications than ever before.
